New HDDs + courier + wall

I would send it back, i probably handle more hard drives on a daily basis than anyone, if i drop or damage one i have to send them back to the manufacturer at the end of each month, just not fair on the customer to send anything like that out. I bet i have to pick up and fit upwards of 100 hard drives a day some days upwards of 500.

We have tested all sorts of drops and knocks to see what deliver a lethal shock and its the hard on hard that causes the big damage where the g/s is very high.

Wow that's some horrible luck, like some others have said I think you should edit your original post because I was under the impression that you got these from OCUK until I read the second page of the thread.

Could it be the manufactuers fault? with poor quality control...

I highly doubt it, like i said in my previous post we handle a lot of Hard drives were one of samsungs and hitachis best customers. Our return rate is exceptionally low i cant remember the last time i have found something wrong on a drive direct from the manufacturer. Its usually the courier dropping a box, but they should be sent straight back, so these drives are either the shops hes buying from or the delivery from the shop to him.
