New Head Unit advice

I'm looking to replace the standard 6 CD head unit in my Monaro.

The car has 6 speakers and two subs and a basic amplifier as standard. I'm not too sure how it's all wired and connected up to the standard head unit but I've been told the current speakers are actually pretty good.

I'm looking for an all in one Double DIN unit that does Navigation and Bluetooth as well as providing excellent sound quality.

I'm looking to spend around £800.

This has caught my eye. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ken-dnx5210bt-kenwood-dnx-5210bt-navigation.html

Get the top Alpine one. You won't notice the outlay next to your weekly fuel bill anyway.

Though that Sony one does have a bigger screen than the Kenwood, which might be of interest. 3 x 4V pre-outs too, Kenwood only has 2V pre-outs. I'd far rather the Sony.

My weekly fuel bill is tiny with my 60mpg Focus diesel.

Thanks, that Sony does look rather nice plus I like Tom Tom's maps better than Garmins. I will ask on the HSV forums what I need to keep the wheel controls and the screens on the Dashboard still displaying information.

Oh god, back and forwards. :P

I'm not an audiophile at all so if the sound quality is rather small between the units then I'm not fussed. I want features and a nice slick interface.

I wouldn't, the user interface on Kenwood products is poor, on the units i tested the navigation software wasn't that good.

Granted the Sony won't sound the best, but it's a more polished product imho.

However i rate the Pioneer units very highly, all of my Pioneer nav systems have been nothing short of fantastic in all departments.
