Just got myself a brand new home cinema system. Got the following
Mordaunt short:
906i
309i
905i
902i
Cambridge audio 540R
Samsung 32" LCD
Still to get the samsung HD860 dvd player
A few pics of it setup. Just got to get my dad sorted and make him decorate the room now and get rid of that horrible carpet. Once this is done all wires etc will be hidden out of view.
All in all im pleased with the system when its working that is. Ive already had to have one of the 906's replaced as it developed a vibrating noise the day after purchase. Then yesterday the sub died, took it back and apparantly thats the first 309 they have ever had die, dont know if i can mention where i bought it from as it may be a competitor. For the amount of money i paid for the system i was a little annoyed at things breaking within a week of purchase but its probably better for them to break now rather then 5 or 6 months down the line.
Other then these problems they are amazing. Ive watched all LOTR's again and they have never sounded so good. The sound is direct and crisp, really feels like you are there in the action. Good job we live in a detached house is all i can say otherwise there would be a few very annoyed neighbours.
