New house ... time to spend some cash

Hi Guys,

Right - me and the Mrs will be moving into a rather lovely apartment due to be finished in June. I very much want a nice looking TV/audio set-up and so am after your advice:

I need a TV around 37" in size - ideally I don't want to spend more than £550
I need a half decent sound system - ideally not more than £250

I also intend to mount the TV on the wall (plasterboard) so any advice around this - particularly hiding cables, would be lovely

Panasonic TXP37X10 for a tv, i've just ordered the 42" version as it (imo) looks the best picture wise of those i've seen. Sound wise, a few stores are doing the Onkyo 5.1 system for under 200 quid with 2.1 speakers, then I think it's about 80 quid for the rears if you want them.
