Astronomers are celebrating the release of remarkable new images from the Hubble Space Telescope (HST).

They prove the mission carried out by astronauts in May to service the observatory was an outstanding success.

The latest pictures include trademark Hubble visions - from colliding galaxies to exploding stars.

Awesome. Of course, great as they look, there really is nothing like getting the photons directly onto your eye first hand. Although they are greyscale, they are no less magnificent! Saturn and Jupiter or just beautiful!

These Pictures and others like it, have to be ranked as some of the most amazing things ever achieved by mankind.

Look at the money we waste on war when we can spend it on more tech like this.
