New i7 spec, Change anything?

Already have Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600MHz)

Have I forgotten or should I change anything?

Side note: Is the Asus P6T worth the extra £40 over the MSI X58M?

Looks good. Should be a very nice system, though I would give this cooler a look. I also suggest going for this thermal material.

The MSI is a good board and worth considering (very positive review here), but there is a reason for the price premium of the P6T: it is full ATX (vs micro-ATX of the MSI) so there are more expansion ports (PCI/PCIE) and it supports SLI and crossfire ( the MSI only supports crossfire).

Id check the clearance over the ram slots on the p6t board, im using a TRUE black on my dlx, but the megahelims is a lot wider than the TRUE, it may cover the ram slots once you add a fan to the cooler.

get an extra Apache fan so you can do push/pull on your cooler

Thanks for the advise. Does anyone have a megahelims with a asus p6t and patriot viper ram that have had problems fitting the heatsink?

I'd preffer air cooling but i am slightly tempted by the Corsair h50, does it require much maintenance?
