Bit miffed, we ordered a new iMac 27" i5 with no upgrades a little over a week ago now (Noon 24th November) and we haven't received a single update on the order status page, not even prepped for shipment from factory. ("Not yet shipped" is the status)

Despite this the ETA still says tomorrow!

I know a lot of people had long waits back in Sept/October, but are people still having shipping issues?

My i7 iMac is meant to be delivered today but so far it has not turned up :(

My house is a bit out of the way so maybe they could not find it but UPS state they can deliver up until 7pm so I have my fingers crossed.
I ordered on the 23rd November btw.

Has your order status page been updated properly thoughout the process? Did you order any addons?

We chucked in a VGA adaptor, which I fear might be the reason.

Edit: Heh, perhaps I should have some patience. Apparently it's just this second shipped, although the tracking function is down.

Yep page was updated when it shipped from Shanghai and also when it merged in the UK :)

EDIT - only addon was the new remote

A guy at work ordered a stock 27" (cheapest version) on Friday with the Black Friday discount, it was allegedly out for delivery today, I saw the TNT tracking website where it said so. I left work before it was delivered but see no reason that it wouldn't have been.

/edit - Texted him to ask, it arrived today just before 17:00.

Tracking information is now available, ETA is now tomorrow :)

Strangely, plugging the tracking number they give into UPS or TNT websites yields nothing, not that it matters.

Friend of mine ordered a 27" Core i5 model last friday - no added options as far as I know, and her estimated delivery date is 15th December. Fully expect it to arrive before then, though.

I got somewhat frustrated with the ambiguous delivery dates when I ordered my MacBook in April. So much so I braved the Apple Shop on Saturday to pick up my 27" Quad Core. It's amazing but you all know that anyway. :D

Mine arrived today. :D

Unfortunately it was left in the depot yesterday so that is why it did not arrive. Was a little worried when the weight went from 17kg down to .2 kg but my fear has gone now it has arrived :)

Just need a little patience :)

You do realise you can get it quicker if you buy a black turtleneck and some jeans, then submit that to Apple CS department.

Just a heads up.

It's a beast.

I've just spent the entire morning lying in bed with Plex and Rowmote. Could get used to this...

How do you know where it is shipping from? my shipping method just says Merge in Transit?

99.9% of CTO (custom) models ship direct from Shanghai.

If you've ordered a popular / base configuration it'll come from Apple Ireland.

Check the link I posted a few posts up for more info :)

If the Apple site says "7-10 Days" shipping... does that necessarily mean my local Apple store (Bluewater) will not have them in stock? I assume it doesn't mean that, but just thought I'd ask

VERY tempted to get a 27" iMac i5 to replace my Mac Pro... I could always phone the Bluewater store couldn't I :)
