I am thinking of getting an imac, but are their any newer models around the corner?

How recent are the new iMac's?

The new Macs won't arrive until the next Intel updates (Q4 2008 / Early 2009)

I'd buy now, as the next ones would probably show up October/November, perhaps earlier, depending on the progress that Intel are making with Montinevia.

The iMacs also recently got an update. I would not expect another for awhile.

Just concerned i would not be getting the best fop my money, especially if their was an update just around the corner!
