Ouch, it looks like a hatchback, they'd be shooting them selves in the foot to release that, therefore I think it's fake.

But from that report it doesn't seem to be :(

Whats whith the stupidly high doors these days? Side impact safety? Or an attempt to hide rear roof headroom hight?

Maybe they want to be included in the rounds of hot hatch reviews with the success of the gold and the Focus ST and simply dont want to be a saloon anymore. Shame as hatch bread vans are never going to look good.

dont know why they dont just use the classic body, doubt they will ever top that in terms of asthetics - not saying its beautiful by any stretch of the imagination but its still the best looking (in my no way biased opinion!)

Having owned a classic Turbo and Bug Eye STI I agree with Will, the classic looks the best in 4 or 2 door form. The interior on the newer shape cars is an improvement but the exterior hasn't caught up with the classic.
