Having just experienced truly dreadful customer service from Nildram for the last time, I am now in the market for a new ISP.

I am currently on 8MB ADSL and would like something similar, not too much of a charge and no lengthy contracts. Who is regarded as being the best these days, what is the current recommendation?

I'll obviously do a spot of research into this myself but thought I'd ask here on the off chance to see if anyone could point me in the right direction so that I can get this pain in the bum migration sorted as quickly as possible.

Thanks in advance.

The first bit of research and the right direction would be to read the sticky topic at the top of this forum. Ignore anything anyone else says until you've read and understood the info there :)

Thanks for the replies.

I shall check out 02 and I never noticed the sticky (:o) so I'll have a read of that before I do anything else.

o2 +1

first three months free, quidco cashback (if the offer is still running) ,free connection and the standard (upto 8mb) is just over £7pm if you have a mobile with them

thats every thing i got, over all my internet for a year will cost me 35 quid because of the cash back :)

That sounds like a cracking deal CSA, definitely cheaper than I'm currently paying. Have you had much contact with their customer services, if so what's it like?

Ive not had to deal with thier CS yet , but i do know that they are all UK call centers and its free from most landlines (i think) and from your o2 mobile

i moved from BE* as i was paying £21pm for the pro package but my line is abit rubbish and wont hold anything over 7mb, so i switched to o2 (free of charge) and theres been NO reduction is performance at all, i average at about 5mb, not great i know but not bad for 7 quid a month :)
