I started going down a bit of a rabbit hole and I want to get a keyboard using these switches. Looking at the OcUK page there is a configurator and I literally have so many options now that I don't know what I actually need and what I don't.

If I buy say this, https://www.overclockers.co.uk/glor...-iso-layout-gmmk-p75-rgb-iso-w-kb-01u-gr.html and all the panda switches, is the only other thing I need is keycaps? How much lube will I need?

What other boards will take the switches or are the Glorious boards the best?

Thanks

I'm considering a kit too, there isn't specific choice I want (want gateron yellows) Have you tried a switch sampler first? At least compare difference between tactile, linear and clicky.

Also not all are the same brown and purple (Gateron) are both tactile but purple has a bigger and more notice bump (or two bumps)
Also for linear difference in weight, you may prefer a lighter, medium or heavier weight.

You hardly use much lube a little tub will be fine, although considering the time involved personally I'd just get prelubed switches if it's not much more.

Watch a few videos on lubing on youtube.

Also factor in cost, 110 Gateron yellow is £25. Are Panda's at £130 worth it?

Hi mate, I ended up getting a GMMK Pro, the pre-built one. It was a bit pricy, it came with Fox switches which are really nice and have a lovely sounding thok. I did buy some silver speed khalil switches to put in my wasd and other keys I use a lot fo gaming and overall I'm absolutely loving it. If I could go back and do it again I would prob buy it all and make it myself, and just have the silver switches all over.

Thanks for your reply mate, it's got me a bit addicted though and it's nice having a bit more space on my desk :D

How much did GMMK Pro + all the bits and pieces set you back in the end?

(I just ordered a Keychron Q1 v2 + Gateron Oil King and some NK Pbow keycaps.)
