Hi

I wasn't quite sure what section to put this under.

I just purchased a new Asus G15 ROG STRIX laptop through the website.

All was going well when today I got a bluescreen with the message DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Since the restart I have lost audio output to my headset via the 3.5mm jack. Audio still plays through the speakers and the laptop recognises when the headset or another set of headphones are plugged in but no audio is getting through.

I have uninstalled the realtek audio driver and then done a fresh install via the asus driver list. No joy.
Any suggestions?

I'm kind of stuck as I am out in Norway working for the next month so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Sorted now.. I tried installing older driver versions one at a time and have found that Version V6.0.8940.1 works while the newer Version V6.0.8981.1 just seems to brick everything to do with the external 3.5mm jack.
