New lens shots!

Hello, I picked up my lens yesterday, and sat in the garden for a few hours this morning, waiting for birds

First of all, I'm really impressed by the build of this lens (sigma 70-200 f2.8) it's built like a bomb, It is a little bit heavier than my other lens, so that will take some getting used to

Focusing is quiet and fast.. All around I'm dead impressed with it

Anyway, first ever shots with it, all shot in f2.8 so are soft, most of these are all cropped;

I have no idea what this bird is, think it's a baby sparrow?

The last image is at f/8, I was impressed by how sharp it is at f/8

congrats for getting the sigma 70-200. it really is a good bargain lens. I paid only £390 for 2nd hand

at f8 it really is very sharp. but f4 is good enough.

Expect to get pics like this. @ 100% zoom is looks stunning.
