It's still a TN panel - and how much did it cost? It is probably pleasing quality to you but 'top quality' is pushing it. This isn't about 3D TVs anyway. My points about 3D monitors are that you are paying a large premium for inferior image quality but superior responsiveness. This isn't always the best choice.

so what if i't's a TN panel. i've had a IPS panel by the side of it , the only main different i seen was the viewing angle.

without the 29.9% APR, it cost £1599 with 3d blu player + glasses
 
If you're happy with your TV that's great. But that has nothing whatsoever to do with a monitor costing around £300. As I said we're not all image quality connoisseurs (read - fussy and pedantic) but the differences are there as a matter of fact, not opinion.

The XL2370 is one of the finest TN panels currently available overall. It has a very good level of responsiveness for a 60Hz monitor and offers image quality that is superior to the considerably more expensive BenQ XL2410T. The differences are not as profound between those two as they are with the U2311H, but don't expect the latter to be perfect. Whites are not all that uniform, blacks are not all that deep and colours are not all that vibrant. The range of colours and accuracy are amongst the best you will find for €250. The responsiveness is also a lot better than earlier IPS monitors and many happy users of the U2311H will confirm that it's a fine monitor for gaming sessions.

if u really want to game in 3d then get a XL2410T. if u don't really care about gaming in 3d get a XL2370.

i'm not a fan of dell monitors but thats just a personlly thing.

Further to this we have had confirmation from somebody who has used both models that the image quality of the HD is just as good for PC tasks. If you happened to want a DVB-T tuner and/or speakers built into the monitor then this might be good for you to know.
