Hi all.
I want to buy a new monitor but I'm not sure if I can justify it, was wondering if someone could justify it for me!!
I currently use a 19" widescreen. It does the job ok but recently I've bought a load of dvd's and watching them on my computer. I watch them from about 10/12' away and it is quite small.
If I were to get one it would have to be a 24" and my budget is sub £150 so it would be bottom of the range, although that's not the end of the world as my current screen is also bottom of the line so I probably wont see the difference, in fact it should be better as the technology has moved on the last few years...
So, a few questions that might help me decide:
- Anyone gone from a 19" to a 24" who happens to watch it from about 10' away?! If so was it worth it?
- As always, I think I should save up and wait for a bigger monitor...but then again, I don't know if a monitor bigger than 24" would be usable when I normally only sit 2' away from it. Anyone use a 24"+ from only a couple of feet away?
- Any new technology coming out soon that might mean I would want to hold off for a bit?
Thanks for any advice.
