New motherboard for 9700x

Looking to build a new system soon. Unless convinced otherwise I will be going for a 9700x CPU with 64gb DDR5 and a 9070XT (when they come down in price a little).
Is there any reason not to just get a B650 board? I am not hugely interested in having the latest greatest USB but if anything on it limited the GFX card that would be a reason. Are there any good low cost boards that people recommend? Not needing to overclock or do anything fancy.

B650 doesn't have PCI-E 5.0 graphics, you'd need B650E, or B850 (though not all have it).

I was under the impression that PCI bandwidth made almost no noticeable difference to anything currently?

It does if your using 2 x pcie5 m2 drives transfering data from one to another where time is Money.

Give us a budget.

Around £150 would be good. I was looking at the ASRock B650 PG Lightning which seems to have everything I need.

I've got the PG Lightning, seemed a decent board for the price and a good VRM.
To be fair around the £150 mark there are probably a few other good boards or a cheap B850 even.

Good board for the money.

You may have to update the motherboard bios for the 9700x to work.

Memory ideally you want 6000mhz c30
