im looking for some advice?

I have now been in my new job for 3 months and feel that it is time to change car. Currently I drive an Audi TT 225 Quattro, whilst it may not be what some would call a "proper" sports car, its is fun, looks good, nice interior and I have never had a problem with it.

But the main problem is I am doing 18k a year maximum mileage and for no other reason, I want a change of car!

I am looking for some thing thats reliable, sub 7.5sec to 60 and most of all Looks Good. Also fuel consumption musnt be dier.. As in must be able to average 26-28 on a normal run..

Budget is around 20k give or take a bit.

I have looked at a Mini Gt but not sure it is the right car for me..Any Ideas would be much appreciated.
 
If you're feeling brave a 20k 996 will make everyone think you've won the lottery and they reportedly can do 30mpg driven sensibly. You just need some spare cash for anything that might go wrong.

Otherwise, small premium saloons are probably the way to go.

i have looked at the phaeton and some of the other s out there, but im not really into the luxo barge type cars.. iw asnt something that is fun to drive and looks good.

I used to have a 330 beamer and enjoyed, have been lookin at a 220 convertible on AT, maybe a consideration.. but not sure
 
the cobra is awesome but as u said, would drive me nuts in the week, the noble, wouldnt touch it, i do crica 18k miles and it would jst b a pain.. I *** the humers but jst couldt live with it..

Atm im thinking beamer, mabye a Z4, but not sure..

The problem is I want something that isnt dull, and whilst not having to be a pure sports car has to be fun to drive.. PLus the missus has to approve at end of day :(..

I guess its a case of looking around a bit more and taking a few things for a drive...
