Turned my bike upside down today to take a look.
Does it seem like missing a screw? notice the one below is "filled", the top one isn't, then again, the bottom one holds a bolt where the one that seems to be missing doesn't really "go" anywhere.
Can someone with a Shimano LX Rear mech double check on yours for me to see if its is the same? Might have to take it back and get them to fix that otherwise.
