I recently had to upgrade my father's old ivybridge PC after the motherboard died. The spec is as follows:

i5 10500
Integrated UHD 630 graphics
B560M Aorus Pro AX (latest bios)
16GB (2x8) Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz DDR4 (XMP)
WD SN750 250GB (boot drive)
Crucial BX200 250gb / Samsung 860 EVO 250GB (data drives)
Corsair CX450M 450w PSU
Windows 10 Home (installed with secure boot).

Everything seems to run flawlessly, except it takes over a minute to wake from sleep. The PC comes on and the HDD light flickers for a few seconds and then nothing appears on the screen for an age. I've tried disabling fast boot in Windows and looking around the bios without success , so any suggestions for Windows/Bios settings would be appreciated! I've not experienced this myself before.

(I've suggested he just doesn't use sleep, since it boots up so fast anyway, but old and stubborn...)

Thanks in advance.

Ah good idea, I'll take a look. I remember there were no errors in reliability report when I checked, but didn't look in event viewer.

Is is sleeping or hibernating ? I'd guess at an issue with the hibernate file, try going into command prompt and run the following two commands, this should refresh the file.

powercfg -h off
powercfg -h on

See if it's any faster after that.
