My daughters PC is needing an update, I have a 3900x going unused and will retain her 1080 GPU and a 2TB HDD.

Usage is general gaming (RDR2, COD etc) and school work, I have the following basket, anything I should change?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £648.24 (includes shipping: £12.30)

thanks :)

Personally, I'd rather have a different case, which fits a standard PSU, the savings from which could go towards more RAM or storage.

Little bang for the buck with lots of money spend on fashion.

Besides demanding expensive PSU that case hogs quite a lot desk space, courtesy of that different for the sake of different fad design.
ATX PSU would be below £90.
Phanteks AMP 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply= £87.95

And wouldn't pay 30% more for RGB memory.

Also that slim smallish radiator waterpipe cooler is heavily brand and fashion overpriced for continuous cooling per noise capability.
Except for being able to absort short load spikes/slow temperature rise, cheaper high end heatpipe coolers are better. (and can't really fail/wear down)
If waterpipes in place of heatpipes are must, Arctic Freezer II has genuinely beefy 50% thicker than usual radiator.
But something like Alpenfohn Brocken 3 would be excellent.
Alpenfohn Brocken 3 CPU Cooler - 140mm= £42.95

If disco show is must, there are plenty of accessory RGB light for whole lot less money than Ridiculously Grossly Bloated prices in other components.
Lamptron FlexLight Multi - 24 LEDs - RGB= £9.95
And these would be movable over PC upgrades giving long time return for the money.

OK take two considering some valuable points re the case and the PSU demands.

I have a large enough bulk storage HDD, 3900x CPU and a GPU

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £240.48 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Still needed -

PSU
Case
CPU Cooler
RAM

I don't need RGB but I would prefer a white case to go with the décor in her room.

thanks

If not going for most power hungry graphics cards 650W PSU would be enough.
Though price difference isn't much.
Phanteks AMP 650W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply= £81.95

Non-RGB Crucial Ballistix has the tightest latencies of well priced kits:
Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit= £74.99
Though it's out of stock at the moment.
But performance wise there wouldn't be much difference to either of other same priced kits.
Team Group Vulcan TUF Gaming Alliance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C19 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Blac= £74.99
Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit (PVS416G360C8K)= £74.99

Brocken 3 would cool 3900X well even under full all core load.
Though for gaming Brocken Eco Advanced should do nicely.
Alpenfohn Brocken ECO Advanced CPU Cooler - 120 mm= £29.99
