PC wont go past "Energy" screen, after power cut.

I had a power cut last night, and this morning when I try to boot my PC it wont go past the "Energy" Screen and just shows my processor name and stays there.

Ive checked inside and everything is spinning/working as it should be. The HD light comes on but I dont think I hear the HD spinning a lot.

What should I do? :(

Remove any expansion cards 1 by 1, see if it gets past it.

Had this before with lightning storms and modem's.

i've had this several times before. Going into the bios and just resaving seems to help my issues........don't know why. A simple resave and it all boots up normally. Could be worth a try if you've tried all of the obvious tricks.

Could be that it's checking the hard drive(s), if it is and they are kacked then wait a few minutes and it should timeout and continue, then see what it reports.

Try going into the BIOS (F2 or DEL normally I think). Then change the boot options to nt show a splash screen. Reboot and it should then show you a lot more information about the problem.
