New pics of the 'teg, a bit lower...

They were already on the car when I got it so I can't tell you how much the conversion cost, but it certainly couldn't have been cheap as it involved custom fabrication work and custom made balanced spacers.

If you go too low you can effect it for the worse, but this hasn't made it any worse atall, it still handles fantastically. Basically like a go-cart, but still with the typical DC2 handling characteristics, largly neutral but with lovely controllable oversteer when past the limit of grip, and it gives you absolutely loads of warning and feedback. Mine is a little more tail happy than a standard car due to the Whiteline ARB, but that was the intention, I like to hang the arse out ;)

Only real downsides to having it this stiff/low is that it's not as compliant as a standard DC2 so on a bumpy B-road a stock DC2 would probably be quicker.

It badly needs mapping/tuning at the moment, I have a Hondata S300 on the way from the states, as soon as that arrives it's going to Performance Autoworks to be mapped and cam-timed.

What sort of power is that putting out? That is just a crazy amount of engine work, was that all done before jedifragger imported it?

Si didn't import it, he bought it from someone over here ;)

The previous owner to Si had all the work done, I have reciepts for thousands of pounds worth of work and parts.

Power wise it should be around 230-240bhp when tuned/mapped.

Thats pretty impressive.

Always likes the JDM Teg's, for some reason i just dont think the 'UKDMs' look anywhere near as hardcore as the imports.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd just ask here, what bulb type does the teg take? Can't live without HIDs now and its got projector headlights so I feel a HID kit on the cards.

I don't know TBH, but mine has a set of HIDs fitted and they work brilliantly

Aye it is a nice spec, but it's probably no quicker than standard at the moment due to being in need of tuning/mapping.

Could be up for a mini-meet Friday, what sort of time were you thinking?
