The house will soon be alive again with the sounds of a puppy once again.
We managed to find a Bichon Frise, Mini Shih Tzu cross. Set me back £550, but so amazingly cute, wish i could have taken his brothers and sisters aswell.
I'll upload some pictures once we pick him up in 2 weeks.

I'd love a dog, the only pet I got for free was a rabbit, allthough he did have an amazing character and I was very upset when he went, best things in life a free :p!

I've got a rescue greyhound. I don't know how people could spend £500+ on a 'pedigree' dog, that is bred for looks over mentality when there are dogs out there that long for a good home! Admittedly my dog wasn't 'free' as such, my parents paid a donation to the rescue center as a good will gesture, which goes towards the looking after of the other dogs.

its not pedigree, seeing as its a mixed breed :p
My dog who passed away only a couple of days ago, was a pedigree bichon frise tho. And anyone who says they are bred for looks over personality has never met a bichon.
side note.. i never had its hair cut like they do for dog shows, it had to be cut as they dont malt, but it was always cut reasonably short, easy to manage and he was always happy when it was done.
