Could use a new reg plate at the front as its got some water damage inside of it and its getting to the point where its hard to read the first few letters - what's the best place to order bog standard number plates from? I have to do anything special or just buy them randomly?

I got mine done at Halfords last time, just took in the V5C form and my driving licence and they were done in about 5 minutes. They charged extra for the fixing attachments though, which I thought was a bit cheap of them :p I attached the plated myself when I got back home, which was simple with the adhesive pads.

Although Halfords are expensive for plates, I paid around £20 each for a border and GB logo, they do look tidy and you can't see their name or BSAU mark from any sort of distance.

eBay - i paid £7.99 for a pair and they are fine - completely legal (text at base of plate is quite small) and backed with 3M reflective stuff so good quality too.

/edit - they are £9.99 now but still good value for a pair, their username on there is iankaren.

Got one from there, £5.95! Arrived Friday, seems well made. Thanks :)
