I am close to biting the bullet on my new rig. I dont want to pay more for a tested overclockable chip, HOWEVER

i am a little worried that.......

Is there a chance that failed overclockable chips are put into the pool of "untested" chips from ocuk?

whilst i dont want to pay a preimum i dont want to limit my chances by getting a chip which has already been tested and failed to 3.3ghz so wonder if i should get the chip from elsewhere and the rest of the stuff from ocuk..

or are all the chips brand new and never been tested.

cheers

M.

so a Q6600 which is tested to see if it runs at 3.2ghz, but fails.

so cant sell it as a guaronteed 3.2ghz chip, but if they are not put into general circulation with the untested chips, surely you cant send back to intel if they run at stock speeds.
