New revision of Sony laptops? When?

Hi there. I'm going to be buying a laptop for University in the next couple of months. I want something small and light that has a good sized screen for watching DVDs and a nice keyboard. The Sony VGN-FE21M seems to fit the bill nicely.

My only concern is, are Sony about to bring out a new range of laptops? If so, when is that likely to be? I've seen a lot of offers on the FE range recently, does that mean they're about to be superceded?

I've heard rumours it could be in the next few weeks - does anyone know what the new laptops will feature?

Next refresh I'd expect would be the Core 2 Duo/Meroms.

64 bit, more cache in some versions, some architectural improvements (~10% faster clock for clock with roughly the same power draw) and at release, the same price as the current Core Duo/Yonah chips (though that'll change).

No idea when Sony'll do it though.
