I just ordered a brand new Samsung HD103SJ (F3 1TB) and plugged it into my Gigabyte ga-ma770 ud3 motherboard, but something is very wrong. I quick formatted it, but it seemed very(!) slow when I started copying data on it and it took very long to open folders and couldn't open files. I then tried to move it to another port on the mobo and use another SATA cable and do a full format, but 2 hours later the format bar had hardly moved.
I ran CrystalDiskInfo and got a yellow caution. I'm not sure what this all means, but it doesn't look good. Everything looks fine in the bios (I've got everything on auto and it is using IDE). Is this a broken drive?
