New Samsung range

Just noticed this that OCUK put these new range Samsung and just wondering if this right, 22" with 1920x1080, is it possible?

Yea, Ive noticed a few full HD 22" screens and been quite tempted!

To go for larger screen or save a few pounds.... thats the question!

Whats the difference between the 22/23 50's and 70's anyway?
As far as I can tell, the 50's and 70's are the same thing.

Different design, the actual surround is different (more squared on the 50, rounded on the 70). The 70's dont seem to have an analogue input, only DVI-D. The 70's have a brightness of 250cd/m² and the 50's have 300cd/m²...

Yeah, but it's a nice compromise between 1440*900 and 1680*1050 for those who want a 16:9 aspect ratio.

yes willy but u get less/none black borders on 16:9 screen

Only on 16:9 movies (which most are not so you still get borders on 16:9 screens).

1920x1200 is always better than 1029x1080 even with borders.

I have a 37 inch 1080p tv for my main display, and I like it for the size. A 1920x1200 screen is better when it comes to compatability - some games don't like, or simply won't run 1080p.

Can you give some examples of games that don't run in 1080p tryant. I am buying a 22" 1080p today or tomorrow and do like to play games.

I haven't found any game in recent times that doesn't. Think you might struggle with some older titles, anything you play in particular?
