Hi,

I managed to source some quite rare seats for the MX5 last month. I have doorcards as well, but because they are from a Mk2.5 the fitment into a Mk2 isn't straight forward. I have swaped the center console over though.

Probably shouldn't have bought them though, as I now need some new tyres on my Euphonic Special edition wheels which will be about £350-£400. It's devloped rust in the usual places by the rear wheel arches, and last week the ABS light has decided to appear! Grrrrrr.

Anyway, they are half alcantara

I've fitted some Mk2.5 Doorcards in a Mk2, infact i'm the only one i know whos done this, its a major pain however it was well worth the effort, i also fitted the Black & Red leather out of the Euphonic, best seats going in Mx5 imho.
 
When I offered the doors up the door handle appeared to be in a different postion. Offset by about 10mm tops. Also one of the fasteners needed moving down the door slightly, Is that what you found?

What was involved? I don't mind putting the effort in, it will look 100 times better.

I am also currently swapping my front end out for a Mk2.5. I have all the bits except bulbs now, so I just need to sort the wiring out.
