Just watched the first episode of the new season of Flashpoint (Canadian series about a police tactical team). I won't spoil it in case anyone else watches but it had me gasping at the screen with my hand over my mouth, was rather surprised that a show that usually plays it safe went with quite a jarring storyline for the season opener. I'm impressed. Usually most episodes conclude with them talking the suspect down without any shots being fired...but it all went a bit crazy with this one.
Also watched episode 2 of Revolution. It's not bad, but it's still not great and I just don't feel anything towards any of the characters so far, they're all a bit generic and the acting and script isn't good enough to actually make me care about their circumstances. Frankly I spent most of the episode staring down Charlie's top.
