Need some help getting a new sound card. I dont really need anything extravagant, just something which will hook up to my old Creative Inspire 5.1 5100 speaker set.
I only use my PC for playing some games and the "odd" dvd here and there. As stated nothing majorly powerful, just something simple. Dont mind spending upto £40 but would prefer to spend less than that.
The current sound card I am using is the external USB Creative Extigy. For some reason it does not like my current rig. When I play any music it sounds like its being fast forward. The same happens with in game ambience, music and FX.
Have tried updating firmware and drivers to no avail hence the hunt for a new sound card.
Any advice much appreciated
