To my Dad's SV1000SZ Anniversary Edition! Went with him to Fleetwood to visit the Carbon Can Company as they are flogging these babies for £199 rather than the £300+ they are normally!
At idle its a lot deeper / meaner and at medium revs it sounds a hell of a lot more menacing, the V-Twin thud really is a lot more pronounced. It sounds lush
As it was just starting to pelt it down we didnt go out on it as he didnt have his waterproof clothing with him, though I have no doubt he will be out and about on it tomorrow and report back on any gains etc, though its only got just under 2000 miles on it and next to none of those were really "at speed" so the differences might not bo too great to him other than the glorious noise! We shall see!
Have to say I prefer the cleaner look of the brushed ally without the brackets, and imagine buying cans from the carbon can company and them not being carbon lol.

Each to their own! It doesnt look as good in the photos as it does in the flesh (cliche but true), mainly because it wasnt raining when the old cans were on and it was starting to rain hard(ish) by the time the new ones were on.
The carbon ones werent on as good an offer, they dont have anywhere near as long a warranty, arent actually a great deal lighter (these ones are probably about 3-4Kgs/side lighter than the stock ones and the CF ones arent that much lighter again and sound identical...
...though I do appreciate the irony there
