New sub

Right, i have an FBT jolly 10a which i have managed to blow the speaker in.

I have taken the bass speaker out and replaced it with a 15" 300w standard speaker to test, and it works.

So now i need a replacement for the 10" that was in it.

The model of the original is an z006631 -here is the specs of it

Anyway, I've been to the website on the back of the sub - www.sica.it and i think the sub is no longer in production?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Some one must know about speakers and ratings and stuff, i dont think i will be able to get the same one again, so i have to get an equivalent one....

http://www.bkelec.com/Pro/Drive_Units/Eminence/Alpha10.htm has the correct impedance, the other parameters are a bit different but it will probably work fine.

i wouldnt recommend it, the jolly 10a is a bandpass system, designed around the original driver and the alpha 10 is just too different to work imo.

why not give sica a call and see what they say? they might be able to source a suitable driver for you.

sica are based in italy, ive been onto there only uk distributor and can see anything suitable either
