A common misunderstanding.

He is also weak to Magic and Psychic attacks plus being away from the yellow sun for long periods and not to mention having his arse kicked in by something of equal strength. ;)
 
On the suite this film is like a prequel/reboot is it not? Maybe the suit without the classic red pants and looking all alien like is a new take on Supes first suite? Much like Mark 1 & 2 in the Iron Man films? Maybe if there's a sequel the classic suite will come back?

I agree but more down to the selection of enemies he has, I've never been a Supes comic book follower but movie wise it seems only Lex Luthor has been adaptable to the big screen what with Superman being very much a fantasy superhero rather than the likes of Batman I don't see why bigger less believable enemies haven't been touched on (not that I know who they are because like I said I've never followed Superman)
 
Indeed, we need a modern film with a super powered bad guy. Lex has been done to death.

People don't want a battle of wits, we want to see Superman go toe to toe with some of the big bads in a city destroying punchout extraviganza :D
 
Doomsday would be brilliant but I cant see that happening! :(

Braniac or Mongul would be good also, there are a good amount of bad guys who could at least give Supes a run for his money just Film makers never seem to have the balls to put him against them.
 
I'm not a massive fan of the suit, but I can live with it. I prefer the classic simple blue and red (pants please), but I think the guy himself looks really suited to the role so I hope his acting is up to scratch.

Plus as stated Supes has a new look now with the DC reboot so time for me to get with the times!

I like the new look for so many years the red pants have either been a negative thing or a classic thing, now its new and almost an alien costume... perhaps there really gonna make him more alien and yet still human.

Im glad we get zod and top baddies, we cant be having lex all the time and we need to start superman off with baddies his equal, I just hope its the batman begins were all hoping for.
 
I'm less concerned about the suit and more about the current trend of most superhero movies, other than batman. Going down the adult, gritty route works more it seems.

Supes really needs to have his true strength on screen for once, none of these sissy fights!
 
Yeah, I've always liked that idea, as he outlined in his speech:
