can anyone recommend a good hard drive case and a hard drive, i dont know much about them. im looking to spend about £80 at most thanks,

Do you just want USB 2.0 or 1394 (Firewire) or ESATA ?.

i was think of buying an external but ive heard there can be compatibility problems with vista

If you have more than one computer, media streamer, or PS3 / Xbox I'd get a NAS. USB/Firewire enclosures are fast however had I/O problems- and can only access the USB drive is the Host PC is on.
