This SSD is 64Gb for £105/$178 which seems like a good deal. I cloned the old drive to a 16gb thumb drive using Ubuntu 10.10 on a 4Gb thumb drive using dd and then swapped the two drives and used Ubuntu again to dd the clone image back onto the new drive. Interestingly, you can run the cloned image from the thumb drive if you wish. Once you have got the new image onto the 64Gb SSD go into disk management and expand the partition to the max it will allow.
