new to the n95 silver edition

I have yet to acquire a micro sd card for it and have just realised that my previous sat nav soft etc is loaded on a mini sd card (N73). Once I get the micro sd could I just simply transfer the data from the mini sd to my pc and then install it on the N95 once the new card is loaded from the pc? The same would apply to installing google maps instead of downloading it direct from the phone? Thank you
 
only if you still have the install software (if its Tomtom for instance) as copying straight over wont install it and the maps may not be registered unless installed.

I have the install software for my sat nav, in fact the software can either be registered to my sim or the phone but not both, and since it is the phone I have changed I will register it to the sim, so it looks as I might be fine with that-but I am also wondering about google maps? Thank you
 
Dont know about google maps, I use the built in N95 maps as well as tomtom. Download the n95 maps for free and hey presto
