Use it for DCS A10 warthog.

Though personally i cant afford an extreme edition CPU:) If I could though and I actually understood watercooling (and felt confident using it) it would be my choice.

But Sandy Bridge is a whole new architecture with lots of improvements and will be far cheaper, 6 cores is still very much a novelty outside of encoding/rendering etc and as you say it's also due to be replaced next year.
