One thing about primes that you just don't get with most zooms is the size of the front element !!!

Got mine yesterday, was quite surprised how big the front element myself! Oh so clear and shiney

I do have a shoot on Saturday, hopefully it won't rain...and I'll get a chance to use it

If the 35L wasn't so damn good I'de say this had to be my favourite lens too. It just will not, ever, ever, ever, let you down. One of Canon's (And lenses in general) finest.
