Hi all

Just a quickie, i turned 31 on monday and as a surprise my missues has bought me a bike! Ive been making noises for a while and a few weeks ago we went to robinsons foundry in canterbury to test ride the 07 model range of buells and harley's for a giggle.. and the inevetable happend, i fell in love with a bike in the showroom, its a 54 plate buell xb9s city x lightning with 3600 miles on the clock, a stage 2 screeming eagle tune kit and a few other extras.. ( this is the model ) she told me to think about it seriously and see if i could afford it...... nothing more was said untill monday morning when she asked if i still wanted the bike...erm YES was the answer..." great because you pick it up on sat " was the reply... needless to say im totaly chuffed.

Those are gorgeous looking machines! Simply stunning IMO
I pulled up next to one (same as what you have there I think, had the blue see-thru tank) just a couple of days after buying my ER6F and thinking "D'oh, could have had that one"
You'll have to let me know how it rides etc. Dont see enough of them around these parts to ask opinions from owners.

Edit:

Oh you're a lucky SOB too for having a missus like that :p

Very niice :D get a nice new exhaust for it ASAP, they sound bloody awesome lol, had a go with the baffle out of mine on the weekend and thought that was damn noisy, then this chap with a buel comes out with what looke like just a link pipe lmao, i couldent hear mine for a good 5 mins with him behind me :p
