Was in town today and just went into J****** for a look, as you do, and was talked into buying this...

Now just got to figure out all the new stuff...nearly 400 pages in the manual and loads of options to play with :confused:

nice, if i hadn't already invested heavily in canon i'd have bought the D300 too

, though the 120-300 is a very tempting purchase for me too

great buy there - good review on the camera! i'm about 3/4's of the ay save up for the sigma 120-300 - so i might have it before summer is out!

I know

I wont get out with it until next week as I have no CF cards. I have ordered 3 x 4gig Extreme III's but have to wait for delivery. I have a 128mb CF card from a few years back, but shooting in raw I get 6 shots on it :eek:
