yeah its not to bad on power however it does weigh a bit more than a normal mk2 golf becuase of the 4wd system.

on the headlights im probably going to try an upgraded loom first to try and avoid the expensive cost in converting the s3/tt projectors

Small Update

The charger has been sorted after my rolling road day power fail.

I have been offered some wheels in a straight swap for my g60 steel wheels

sorry they are phone pictures so not that good, im trying to decided whether or not to keep them, i think they look a lot better on the car but the ride is a bit harsh due to the low profile tyres. What do you lot think?

Im probably going to keep them.

Keep it original the wheels above make it look like any old golf with big alloys... Why spend 6k on a classic to spoil it with non standard parts.

I prefer it with the new wheels, don't think the steelies done it justice but still not 100% keen on those new wheels.

If you do keep those wheels I'd look for some VW centres (just personal opinion) OR if you do swap back to the G60 wheels I'd be tempted to space them out to the same width as those new ones. The original photos made them look a little lost under the arches.

Yes i will find some vw centre caps for them if they are staying on the car.

the g60 steelies are not the standard wheels for the car anyway, however they are the same offset as the original sebring wheels that vw supplied.

well it was £395 all in for the full charger service. The apex seals inside the chager had given up which is why the boost was so low on the rolling road.

you probably need to get it serviced every 2 years anyway these days just to look after them.
