I dislike fake vents in slow sports car wanna be so when an actual sports car does fake vents...it really annoys me even more. I know what they are trying to imply with the slit behind the doors to suggests it is a mid-engine car but isn't that and never have been.

Fake vents are always bad :(

All that's going to happen is crap and moisture will collect in there. No other function.

I'm not sure I trust that cylinder lining. Sounds like a financial time bomb waiting to go off (after the warranty expires ofc).

The vents aren't completely fake. They're capped yes, but they've been designed so that they can be removed and ducting installed for brake cooling etc. They're not purely cosmetic items, just capped out of the factory for road use.

Not sure you'd need vents like that for the rear brakes. Usually you'd install ducts under the car too.

Wheel arch air pressure perhaps? Same for the front I'd imagine.

It's been in use for about a decade now, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Used in the GT-R, among other things.

All I can see is a sea of panel gaps/lines. They ruin the car in my eyes!
