panasonic G series are great screens, if 42 is what they want,go for it seems a decent price. I have a G10, paid £749 for the 46" one a year ago and it's still brilliant.
G20 is a great telly tbh, there are some issues with the 2010 range on the freesat tuner causing it to switch off randomly, so look out for that when you get it, but thats a great price tbh.
