New Vodafone price plans!

But don't seem to be available to existing customers at the moment :( At least not online anyway...

If you are within commitment, you can move to the new tariffs, but you have to extend your contract by 6 months and cant have any extras :( Best to wait for upgrade then cash in on the new tariffs, new phone and you get the extras.

I quite like the new extra points system. I don't use my phone all that much, and aren't impressed with '1000 extra free texts' offers when I only send about 20 a month anyway. So I can now have 10% of LR instead! Thanks vodafone!

The £20 12monther is a completel non-starter. Why don't you get any extras with that? It's totally crap at 75 minutes and 100 texts. Change that to 100minutes and around 300-500 texts and then we'll talk. I pay £24 per month to 02 and get about what you have to pay £40 per month for on Vodafone. Makes totally sense :p

Because at £20 a month you a very low user and will not make the company much (if any) profit at all.

I dont know if i've said this before, but, even though the new tariffs are great, Vodafone do not want (need?) to be locked into a price war with other networks like o2 and t-mobile. and at the end of the day, the minutes and texts you get arent the full story when buying a contract.

They don't seem any better than when I got a contract in October last year, maybe even worse. I'm on a vodafone 18-month contract for £25/month with the first 3 months at half price line rental, 200 minutes, 250 texts and Stop The Clock with a Samsung D600.

From the looks it would cost me more to get the same deal.

What happens when you get to upgrade? Do voda give you a list of phones you can take? Can you choose other price plans and go for better phones if required?

You got a Promotional Price Plan....

These are not Promotional, these are standard priceplans.

So when the Promotional ones do come out, you can pretty much guarantee they will rock.

In store you get a list of phones, some you may have to pay for some you may get free. If you phone up, they take the change of tariff into account, so the phone may become cheaper and/or free.
