listened to a current one at a race track this month and was mint. Could hear it for ages!
Not sure if they have special exhausts to enhance the sounds, the lambos did.

what makes it sound so good is that it has the 6.2 LS3 Chevrolet V8 from the Current Corvette

the new and old car both have the same engine so they will sound just as epic. Even better when you fit a custom exhaust

Nice, it was the best sounding car at the racetrack i was at. Better than the Ferarris and lambo's etc.

Does anyone know what those things are on the back of the exhausts? is it to keep the noise down / louder or keep the exhaust clean?

If they look like the pic below they are valves for the Bi-modol system, simply a loud and not so loud switch...

Deffinately.. I fitted a full custom system to a Monaro which was in my opinion way ott but the chap was happy. The Walkinshaw exhaust gives a lovely sound, don't you have one on yours ? sure I remember a video...

I have the wortec version which is more raspy and raw than the Walkinshaw version.

Nice.. Have not seen the Wortec but heard the build quality is superb, did you de-cat as well.. ?

Edit - That mitsubishi has a lovely sound..

No de-cat yet but will getting sports cats with long tube headers shortly, just doing some research into what will give me the sound I want.

Should make a nice difference, The custom one I fitted was cat less and it felt more lively when done. It had a deep thunderous sound with loud rasping at throttle.. I had a video somewhere I will try and find it...
