How the hell did you manage to politicise a thread like this? I mean, seriously!?!?! I appreciate trolling, but the shotgun approach is somewhat primitive. I also think you're a little late with your comments about a "****" government. About 8 months or so.
 
just another night out, only it's spoilt by the once a year brigade who have one too many drinks and think they can fight the world! Glad I stay in and look after my kids. I celebrate two weeks later when it's my birthday :)
 
1st time in ages I'm not out - got the bug that's going round at the mo, probably could muster it but just CBA.

Plus i've never really enjoyed NYE - it just brings home thats it's January, a thororughly depressing month.

Now Christmas I can get excited about, but now that's so far away :(

**** government? What would you rather they do in the current situation, bury their heads in the sand and pretend nothing is happening?

Or perhaps people get bored of going out and spending triple the money for everything for what pretty much always turns out to be an average (at best) night.
 
Have never been one to really celebrate NYE tbh

Was going to go out but long day in work, longish week in fact so I'm tired and not in the mood to do much.

I also said a bunch of things I wanted to do last NYE and haven't done a single one of them, I would say I have actually gone backwards so not much to celebrate as such.

Going to start this one as I meant last year and about to pay for a OU course and then look at booking a flight to Thailand.

Next on the agenda, find better paid work to get me some extra cash.

If I manage all of the above, then celebrations will be in order.
 
Yeah, I'm not a fan of New Years either, just because it is a new year, doesn't mean all your problems suddenly just evaporate!
However, I'm not knocking those who do celebrate, I personally wouldn't mind being in London tonight watching the fireworks!
 
Just 'Starting with maths' meghatronic see how I get on with it before I consider something else in Oct. Starts March ends July.

Will consider booking Thailand for August now :D

About time I got off my ass and did the things I keep saying.

Same tufty nothing against those who celebrate it and happy new year to all! Enjoy it.
 
Its a complete waste of time.

I don't drink, so see no points in going to house parties or going out. I'd actually rather be on these forums or masturbating than do something. Mind you, I think Christmas should be abolished and I hate my birthday as well, so I might not be the perfect person to ask.

Edit- Now excuse me while I hang myself ;)
