New Year hype

Didnt feel like New Years Eve, been having fun the last few months more or less every day, so tonight wasnt any different :p

Really need to find a job now..:D
 
my wife was ill, so plans cancelled, but i went out with two single mates and we had a proper blast, ended up in a Mexican restaurant that had a band in playing country and Weston music, was very odd but just ended up laughing so much and walked home at 2am with a kebab, sometimes when u make no plans and have no expectations it goes better!
 
I always look forward to NYE, we get together with friends, usually everyone comes to our place and we have a laugh, get a takeaway and see the new year in with people we care for.

It's nice just for that reason really. Plus watching the fireworks in London on the TV and laughing at all the mad people who have waited hours and hours in the freezing cold so they can have a restricted view of the display is always a bit of fun.

Last night, we had pizza, played Articulate and Buzz and just generally had a laugh. NYE is a perfect excuse for it :)
 
Had a great new year, very quiet but was good. Went out for a nice meal in Glasgow with my parents and girlfriend. Was just their normal menu so wasn't extortionate. Then back to my flat for board games, champagne and scrawny bird on tv.

Im firmly in the going out on NYE sucks crowd. Much rather stay in and have a nice evening with family.

Yes you are, it is called positive thinking, make every day count amigo, try to live life to the fullest you can achieve because you are a long time dead, nothing positive about death and nothing can be achieved there. This is your time, live it the best you can, there is nothing else.

Most peoples definition of this is to get ****** off their face. Either drink or drugs approch.

May I ask how this is living it the best one can? ...

Depends in what context. We used to smoke marijuana, drink whiskey, rum, lots of beer , work in scaffolding, construction industry, go jogging, weight lifting, martial arts, swimming, hang around with rock bands reggae bands, go to new citys, towns, get drunk, get high, have fun and generaly enjoy that kind of life.
