Depends on the BIOS thats on it, but the F6L was released to fix the G510 keyboard issue and happened to work with mine.

Do you have a crummy one lying about just in case?

nope :( well I have 2 wireless HTPC keyboards

only reason I'm nervous is my HTPC - Gigabyte 9400 based mATX board is a NIGHTMARE to get into the bios - its practically impossible with wireless keyboards (1 in 10 attempts if that) - and with the G15 via USB perhaps 50% success rate

don't have any issues with my older P5B Deluxe Asus - so I don't see the issue

its almost like the Gigabyte mobo is initialising the USB/keyboard too late

Well I have the same motherboard and when I went to install a 3570k in it, and set it all up, it wont boot  Same motherboard and sounds like the same problem. It boots to a blank blue screen. Also the debug LED comes up with the code A6. Which according to the manual means 'Detect and install all currently connected SCSI devices'.

Had this board for the last 3 weeks and when I finally get my new cpu, the bloody thing wont start!!

Cleared the CMOS, did the one stick of ram nearest to the cpu trick and a host of other things. I think its probably a duff board. Funny that me and someone else have the exact same problem. The blue screen itself shows straight after boot. The bios wont boot at all.

I have wasted hours tonight. Not happy with Gigabyte and this duff board. Sorry to whine so much, but I have been waiting weeks for ivybridge to come out, and this board has been staring at me for weeks. And when I finally get the cpu to install, this happens :(

Yeah mine isn't a blue screen of death either, but just a blank blue screen relating to the motherboard. It wont even load a bios message let alone boot to windows :(

I got into the bios just fine with my G15 with the f5 bios (which it shipped with)

the thing is i know what the poster is saying about it hanging when you enter the bios it happens to me but only after i havent put enough v-core and the overclock fails
