Newborn photos

Visited my girlfriend's sister and their newborn yesterday and took some snaps for them whilst I was there. Haven't taken photos in so long that it was weird holding the camera in portrait! Anyway here's a few for your C&C

They look a little cold to me for baby pictures, maybe see what they look like with the "cloudy" WB setting in post (assuming you're shooting raw)

I started to shoot in RAW but that was a mistake; they wanted me to give them the photos there and then and RAW is useless to them.

I've purposefully desaturated a few of them to make the colours a bit more natural. Perhaps they look cold because there's a lot of white in most of the shots?

Dunno, it's not all of them, the one in the bath for instance though, the skin tone looks like it has a blue tinge.

Personal preference though I guess, I like my portraits to be a bit warmer

My first thoughts were thinking they were a bit on the cold side too. What camera/lens did you use?
